M19 THE CAMPING COACH - Chervil Valley Railway, Whimshire

The Chervil Valley Railway thought to earn some extra income by retiring one of its ancient clerestory coaches and converting it into a camping coach to rent out for the holidays. Space was found in the goods sidings at Bucket Chervil, a quiet country station that purports to serve a small village some miles away. The CVR workshops having removed the wheels for use elsewhere, the coach was ensconced on some old sleepers and rotted there peacefully for many years. By the time the family in the picture arrived to take possession for a week, decay was so advanced that even the station porter was somewhat embarrassed to indicate their intended holiday abode.
