Last year Simon and Chris Challis brought their wonderful P4 layout "Cheddar" to the show. While they were in the hall some 1/76 time travellers hopped in to an old Landrover and went to visit the signalman..... P4 is represented this year by Tim Maddocks embryonic "Callow Lane" project. |

This year's "Camrail" will take place on Saturday and Sunday the 19th and 20th July 2008 at Saint Margarets Hall in the centre of Bradford on Avon. There will be the usual eclectic mix of exhibits in various scales including some firm favourites that will be familiar to many through to some rather more obscure modelling projects. The show is a small friendly and relaxed affair which seems to have established a regular niche, successfully holding its own amongst the larger and more competitive shows that one hears so much about. Whilst it can be invidious to pick out separate models, I am particularly pleased to this year be playing host to Craig Tilley's very atmospheric "Wood Street" layout in 7mm scale. "Wood Street" is appearing with the support of both Craig and his fellow Swindon Model Railway Club members - thank you very much all of you. Fuller details of exhibits are at long last on the"what's there this year" page.
