Rates are calculated based upon Royal Mail First Class for UK delivery and Royal Mail Printed Papers Airmail rates for international orders. They are calculated according to the actual weight of each book plus an allowance for the weight of the packaging. There is a maximum charge of £8.00 for the UK. Canadian orders over 2kg in weight are a little more expensive than other international orders as Canada will only accept printed paper packages up to 2 kg in weight, requiring orders heavier than this to be packed into two or more packages. |

Despite this automation the whole endeavour is still run by human beings - still just as available as ever by telephone, e-mail or letter, so if you have any queries or questions then please get in touch. |

More information: I endeavour to stock books which I feel are worth owning. In my view, the criterion for judgement of a book's being "worth owning" will be a combination of some or all of the following; quality of reproduction of photographs, print quality, originality of concept, quality of research undertaken by author, sources of information, obscurity of subject, quality of writing, humanity of author, artistic ability of designer, and yes but probably last on the list - price. |
Payment Methods: I am still happy toaccept payment by a cheque drawn on a UK bank. International electronic transfers in Sterling using IBAN and BIC numbers may also be used, contact me for the relevant bank details. Please do not send cash in the post. The phone is manned during shop opening hours, Tuesday - Saturday, 10..00 to 5.30 UK time.. |
